On Friday 4th June, the 32nd edition of the Biomedical Sciences Symposium will be held. This annual event is all about the biomedical students and the work that is done during their internships.
The symposium is a day organized by a dedicated and enthusiastic group of Master’s students there to show just what our Master’s students are capable of. Find out more about this year’s organizing committee here.
Because of the corona pandemic, this year’s symposium will be held completely online. Last year’s committee had to switch to an online version very suddenly after preparing for a physical event for several months, but they managed very well, and we hope that we can make this edition just as successful.
This symposium has become a tradition within the biomedical education in Leiden and has given many Master’s students the opportunity to present their work for a large audience. This year, we have the ambition to add the opportunity for all students, Bachelor’s and Master’s, to informally chat with former supervisors and biomedical companies about possible jobs and internships.
